Nice Italian next door. Sometimes a bit hectic but always nice and courteous. Food tastes good ...

Def one of the best places for truffle pasta. Their beef carpaccio with truffle as a starter to share was also delicious!! Can only recommend, plus it’s basically within the heart of Munich :)

Food was very good, plus a nice atmosphere. However, the very harsh manner of the service means that we will unfortunately not be back.

The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I have to give a few minus points for the food. We had truffle pasta as a main course and a mixed starter plate as well as the classic Vitello Tonnato. In my opinion, the price / performance ratio is not right. The food was okay and I would rate it as mediocre. I hope the chef had a bad day and will delight other guests. All the best!

Great choice of vine, friendly and cozy atmosphere.

The two of us were here on a Wednesday afternoon, sat outside and had both time and a reservation, maybe in advance. The hard facts: We had two Aperol spritzes, a bottle of water, spaghetti con gamberoni and penne alla Petroniana and paid just under € 60. About the service: I was able to correct my reservation at short notice and without any problems half an hour back and experienced courteous, polite and competent service that was always within sight. To the kitchen: The food tasted excellent, the portions definitely big enough and the price was absolutely okay for the quality on offer, a fact that will probably ensure that I won't get to know the variety of the menu, because we will be back and I will do the Penne again to take. About the host and the atmosphere: The boss of the company takes his role as host very seriously, we felt very welcome once again. Just the fact that he is there every day, every minute, and is approachable shows his closeness to the guests. Everything else is done by the English bulldog, who definitely has a relaxing effect on the guests. Not far from the hectic valley, it is very relaxed here anyway, even though you are sitting right on the road. All in all, our experiences coincide with my last visits a few months and years ago. Great service, great cuisine, great atmosphere, thanks for that!

Visit on 9.9.20 for lunch The restaurant made a decent impression from the outside. Tables covered with white, decorations and plants pleasant. An Italian as he should be. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The lunch menu is not overloaded with interesting variants of well-known dishes, mainly pasta, but at juicy prices of € 16 per portion. Let's see if the promised level is kept. We ordered 1x penne with chicken (small pieces) with cherry tomatoes and spaghetti with squid and plum (exciting!). A glass of white wine and (of course, we're in Munich) 1 light. Since it is lunchtime, a small side salad is included in the order. A little green leaves, two or three pieces of tomato, a few strips of peeled carrot. Fresh and crisp, ok, but overall a bit unimaginative. A slice of fresh ciabatta would certainly not make the host poorer, but it is missing. The salad wasn't put on, which is okay, but the waiter doesn't notice that the table is missing olive oil and vinegar, but he's gone before I can ask for it. Nice that the gentlemen from the next table help out. The ordered pasta arrives quickly. On a nicely designed plate with an extra wide rim, but the recess is all the smaller! So a portion that at best passes as a prime. (€ 16, -!) Parmesan is only brought on request. Commercially available "sawdust" from a spreader. Can you do it like that, but freshly grated would look better on the shop. Well, about the pasta: The penne is unspectacular. Penne, tomatoes, chicken are all there, even a few green bits of parsley are recognizable, but somehow nothing that I can't get quickly at home if I don't feel like cooking. The spaghetti al dente with little octopus arms -OK- but there is no trace of the plums announced on the menu. The sauce with the taste of freedom & adventure? -Seafood? rather indefinable, bland and definitely plum free. So it wasn't on the menu and wasn't ordered that way. Unfortunately, the waiter himself seems to be on the lunch break because he doesn't come by. Only when the plates are empty does a colleague appear; When asked about the plums, he is irritated, but promises to clarify this with the kitchen. He owes the clarification, but the other waiter comes with the bill. For 2x small salads, 2x small portions of pasta, 1 wine and 2 beers over € 50, - is an announcement. Oh well, about the beer I also have to say: I ordered 1 light which was delivered in a 0.3l glass. Hello, we are in Munich! Here is the unit for a "small" beer 0.5l! Point! And for this mini beer, actually asking for a "cut" € 4.20 is ... let's say, not adequate! As we were walking the waiter came and said the cook had unfortunately forgotten the plums! Conclusion: an Italian who is somehow chic, somehow neat but somehow doesn't reach the goal. It's good that there are plenty of competitors within a 100m radius, so I'll quickly forget the Vino e Gusto.

This rating only refers to the service. We cannot provide any information about the food. We wanted to eat there today spontaneously and without a reservation. The owner greeted us very friendly on the street and asked us inside. We tried several times to draw the waiters' attention to us. Since we hadn't reached a menu or a waiter somehow in 20 minutes, but were ignored, we left the restaurant. Then we had our second meeting with the owner. When he asked, we kindly explained to him why we were leaving the restaurant. Then his tone sharpened and his initial friendliness turned into aggressiveness. With the words: “I would have made it up to you. But this isn't a McDonald’s. Have a nice life! ”We were bid farewell. Such a service situation can happen, but following up verbally is unprofessional.

Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable at all during our visit last night. On the one hand, this was due to the very arrogant and almost disparaging behavior of the waiter assigned to us. In addition, in our opinion the only friendly employee of the restaurant was reprimanded relatively rudely by the owner in the guest room during our stay. The quality of the food and the wine was really good, so the higher prices are justified. But you can only enjoy yourself if you feel comfortable. The lady at the next table preferred to have the main course packed for her to eat at home. Too bad.

Very tasty food, super nice boss. Pleasant stay and definitely recommended. The truffle pasta was very tasty, lots of truffles, possibly a little more spaghetti.

Very nice Italian restaurant with excellent cuisine, caring but inconspicuous service, wonderfully personal atmosphere from the host Guido and his dog Marlesh (a real institution). Recommended in every way.

The service is great. In summer you sit outside and enjoy the time. The food is very tasty and the portions are also sufficient. You can stop by when you are hungry. You come out full again.

The manager was constantly fighting with the staff in middle of the street. It was a very uncomfortable experience, despite the great food, I will not go back!

Fantastic Italian food served by great staff in a warm and welcoming environment. Good wine selection. Extra points for them having a dog at the restaurant. He loves to play with the guests and we had a fun and interesting chat with the owner. Can absolutely recommend a visit!

Really great Italian food. Pasta was really delicious, with an excellent open wine. The bruscetta in particular tasted very good. Fast and friendly service. The decor and ambience are also very nice.

Happen to chance upon this place as I was escaping from the rain. The service staff was friendly, attentive and do all they can to make your meal as enjoyable as possible. I had great wine and pasta recommendation from my server, Paolo. He even asked if I like spicy after finding out I was from Asia and brought along chilli oil! The king prawns were fresh and grilled to perfection. I was taken by surprised by the quality of it when I took my first bite. They have a wide selection of wines, with different price range, depending on what you are looking for. The owner and his house dog were on site, and that definitely added to the character of the restaurant. There were many regulars and the owner also made a point to know the guests. This personal touch made this place stand out from the many restaurants I have been in a long time. I cannot wait to come back the next time and have a great experience again.

One of the best Italian food we have had, highly recommend the grilled fish and the Parmesan and truffle spaghetti. The portions and drinks are very generous ! It reminded us of Sicily :)

Charming and fast service and decent food.

Lackluster food, rude and inattentive staff. 1) Had the bolognese and a bruschetta as an appetizer. The bolognese didn't have enough sauce, which was probably best because it tasted cheap and tangy. The bruschetta included a tasteless sponge-like material that I think the intended to be mozzarella. No bread was served with the meal. 2) The waiter never checked in once, was short with us, and my drink sat empty through half the meal. 3) The tables were too close together, the grumpy German couple next to us was right on top of us.

The best meal I have in Munich so far. The food is divine and the coffee is great too! Every dish is of high quality and the ambience is so cozy and relaxing.

The great dinner disappointment. The fish of the day with a big shrimp tasteless full in oil as if they had fried it.(29€ only) We took a spagetti and was so hard as if they had cooked it early in the morning and put it in the microwave to be served. They only thing we found tasteful was the tuna carpaccio and the mixed salad. We would rather had to choose to eat in a Mac Donald restaurant. And very very expensive

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! We had 4 courses and they were all exceptional..very fresh ingredients and the flavors were incredible!! By the way, If you like shrimp, the Tiger Prawns were the largest and best I've ever had. Also, our 1 year old daughter was being quite difficult this evening and was very fussy, and our waiter went out of his way to entertain her and took my stress level way down! I also got the opportunity to chat with the owner, Guido, who might be the nicest guy I've ever met, and who also took time to come to our table to cheer up the little one! If you're in Munich, absolutely book a dinner here, it will be one of our great memories from Munich!!

Superb food, great atmosphere, wonderful wine. Over dinner we planned to return the next evening for more of the same - it was that good. All of this breaks down when you go to the men's room and you learn when you leave a waiter TRIED TO HIT ON YOUR WIFE while you are in there. This left my wife really uncomfortable and myself angry and confused thinking "How could someone be so stupid trying to hit on a married woman while her husband is out of the room for 2 minutes! And someone who works there!". It would of been a 5 star review, but this made it a clear 1 star review. It's a great place until you learn it has rats that work there! Dear Vino E Gusto, I don't like leaving bad reviews, please get in contact with a picture of your waiting staff and I'll gladly point out the rat who was serving the night of the 19th March 2019. You are being let down by this one person.

“Very accommodating owner, Guido” What an evening! Went for dinner after a day of lectures at a university polyclinic, with 2 of the lecturers joining. Guido himself took care of us from A to Z, literally. From suggesting the wine to taking our orders for the different “atto”s, primo then secondo then terzo, modifying from the set menu when requested. I chose the “straccetti di manzo”, which was 2 pieces of beef medium dome to perfect tenderness. He did not skimp on the parmiggiana whether shaved or grated. One drawback was that he didn’t have basilicum for the Insalata Caprese, he smartly used baby rucola which was not a problem. The bread was “excellente”. I asked for the tiramisu with amaretto, they brought the amaretto on the side, so I simply poured it in and it was fine. He never hesitated to catch the spirit of the fun, joking and teasing along in a brotherly mood and attitude. What an evening.

Waw...i didn't expect this place to be that good....the Place is awesome... so close to marine platz...food is fantastic... Service is great... And the most important thing... Mr. Guido...he is gentleman.. He know how to roll this place... So flexible... And do more than you ask...

We have always enjoyed our time at Vino e Gusto for its excellent pasta, wine, and staff! We were so lucky this past visit to catch owner, Guido, and his adorable side-kick, Malesh, at the end of our evening! The restaurant is very quaint, but we actually prefer sitting in the bar area as its much more casual!

Rude staff :( he threw my debit card and receipt carelessly, he could have handed it to me nicely. We gave him 3 eur TIP, like it wasn't enough for him. Never again!
